Frequently asked questions

What is AppSec NL?+

AppSec NL is a free community of experts on Application Development, Security and Process Automation in The Netherlands. Members get access to live webinars, keynotes, original research and the Mythos Readiness Scan.

What is the Mythos Readiness Report?+

The Mythos Readiness Report is a free 2026 research report on how AI is reshaping software supply chain security. It combines platform telemetry, original research and a survey of 80+ CISOs in the United States, and defines four stages of readiness.

What is a hardened image?+

A hardened image is a checked and safe build of an open source framework or base image. It strips out the components you don't need, pins what remains and is verified before it ships — so the vulnerabilities that aren't there can't be exploited.

How much of an open source framework do teams actually use?+

Around 1%. Teams import a full open source framework, use roughly 1% of it, and ship the remaining 99% as unmanaged attack surface. That unused code is potential risk: every unused component is a CVE waiting for a reason.

Are AppSec NL webinars free?+
